AGS Certified Appraisals

If it has been awhile since you brought your gems for appraisal, it is time to bring them in! If they are lost, insurance typically will not cover the real value unless you have had them appraised with a AGS certified appraiser.  Jewelry By Design is one of 3 certified appraisal locations in the Metropolitan D.C. area. Our appraisals are backed with unbiased, fair report of exactly what you have to help you obtain proper coverage against loss, theft, or damage.

Engraving

We are often asked if we can engrave a piece of jewelry. The answer is yes.

We will engrave flat surface pieces such as plaques, in ring bands, the back of watch and other flat jewelry. 
We are certain you will be pleased with our pricing as well as the end result!
 
Our Master Artisan handles more complicated surfaces by hand.  Prices start at $50.00 for a small item such as a charm and increases with engraving complexity and type of surface.
